Release Edit Screen - Field Definitions

Update release settings, dates, inventory thresholds, and display options

Why it matters

Keeping your release settings accurate ensures retailers and agents see the right information at the right time. From status and dates through to banner images and order minimums, this is your central control point for how a release behaves in Brandscope.

This option enables the Supplier User to edit a range of data associated with the Release:

    Field reference

Brand — The brand name associated with this release. Must be exactly the same as the Brand name on the Data Load Sheet to avoid import errors.

Name — The release name. Must be exactly the same as the Release name on the Data Load Sheet to avoid import errors.

Currency — The currency that will be used for this release.

Type — The release type: either Indent or Stock Service. Contact your Brandscope Account Manager for guidance on the appropriate release type for your setup.

Status — Controls what retailers and agents can access. Each release can be set to one of the following:

    • Indent Sell — Use during the indent sell period. Inventory is not shown under this status.
    • Offline — Use after the indent sell period while orders are being collated and purchase orders are submitted and confirmed with manufacturers. In Offline mode, the range cannot be accessed or viewed by Retailer or Agent Users.
    • In Season Sell — Use when the range is in season. The system will show inventory levels, assuming integration with the supplier's inventory system.

Start Date — Sets the start date for the range release period.

End Date — Sets the end date for the release period.

Deadline — Sets the absolute deadline at which the range will be taken to Offline mode.

Apply Order Minimums — Controls whether the minimum order amounts configured at the brand/retailer settings level apply to this release. Toggle on to enforce the existing minimums, or off to waive them for this release. For further detail on configuring order minimum amounts, refer to [How to Set Up Minimum Order Amounts].

Expired Delivery Months — Remove or add delivery months for a release.

Low Quantity Amount — Sets the inventory level at which the size box turns orange, indicating low stock. Defaults to 5 units if left blank.

ATS Display Amount — Sets the maximum inventory figure shown when a user hovers over a size box on the Buy Plan page. The actual number of units available will display for anything under this maximum.

Release Code — Office use only. Leave blank.

Integrated To — Set when the release is created. Determines the integration connection between the supplier's system and Brandscope.

Supplier Emails — Add additional users to receive emailed order confirmations beyond the Retailer and Agent/Sales Representative Users already notified automatically. This may include National Sales Managers, General Managers, or Designers.

Divisions — Set on the Data Load Sheet and cannot be added here — only removed if no product is assigned to that Division. You can sort the order in which they appear.

Collections — Set on the Data Load Sheet and cannot be added here — only removed if no product is assigned to that Collection. You can sort the order in which they appear.

Release Notes — A free-text field that allows you to add a note or specification that appears across all products in this release, without needing to add it to each individual product on the DLS. Once your note is entered, use the toggle to turn it on or off — making it easy to show or hide the message without deleting it.

This is useful when a single callout applies to the full range, for example:

    • All products are sold in a pack of 3, or must be ordered in multiples of 3
    • Freight conditions or surcharges that apply across the range
    • Any other range-wide information you want retailers to see at the product level

💡 Tip: Use Release Notes for consistent, range-wide messaging rather than duplicating the same note across individual products in your DLS.

Banner Images — Upload banners that appear at the top of each working page. Banners must meet the following specifications:

    • Width: 994 pixels
    • Height: 150–250 pixels
    • Resolution: 72 dpi
    • Accepted formats: .jpg, .png, and animated GIF

📝 Note: Verify banner specifications with your Brandscope Account Manager or the current platform guidelines, as requirements may change.
