Complete a product Data Load Sheet (DLS)

This video will run through each column of the DLS

 

CatalogueOrder

⚠️ Required

This number denotes the order that items will be displayed on the Brandscope RANGE page. Typically, it denotes the EXACT order that items also appear in the physical catalogue.

Ensure that the catalogue order for each SKU + colour combination is increasing in at least multiples of 5, to allow for any additional products to be inserted into catalogue order down the track. 

All sizes for the one product need to have the same catalogue order number.
S = 5
M = 5
L = 5

Field Rules:
Numeric values only.

BrandscopeCarryOver

⚠️ Required

Is the product a carryover / existing product in Brandscope?

Y = Yes
N = No

Field Rules:
Y or N only.

ProductName

⚠️ Required

Denotes PRODUCT NAME for each style.

Field Rules:
Max Length 80 characters.

Integration_ID (Key Data)

⚠️ Required

This will need to be the unique product identifier.
Usually at the product's lowest level (size).
This will be used as the Product Key in mapping integration.

Field Rules:

Max Length 500 characters.

Must be unique (cannot be used for multiple products).

Barcode (Key Data)

Denotes unique BARCODE (EAN) for individual SKU.

Field Rules:
Max Length 500 characters.

SKU (Key Data)

⚠️ Required

Denotes SKU number for each style.
Please note that this SKU (often called style code).
This should be the same across all size breaks.

Field Rules:
Max Length 500 characters.

SizeBreak (Key Data)

Denotes the SIZE of the item.
Sizes can be expressed as NUMERIC or ALPHANUMERIC.
Options include: - XS,S,M,L,XL,2XL,3XL etc - 6,8,10,12,14 etc
This should match exactly what is stored in your system.
If you don’t store size, then leave this blank.

Field Rules:
Max Length 40 characters.
Product with blank size cannot have more than one size.
Product with a non-blank size cannot have a blank size.

AttributeType

Denotes size attributes requiring additional descriptors (e.g. leg lengths, foot widths, bra sizes).
Request assistance when completing this column.

Field Rules:
Max Length 500 characters.

AttributeSequence

⚠️ Required if AttributeType exists

Please contact Brandscope in regards to this column if your products have attributes.

ProductColourCode (Key Data)

Denotes the PRODUCT COLOUR CODE. This MUST BE IDENTICAL TO THE COLOUR CODE STORED IN THE SUPPLIERS DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
This is case sensitive.
NB: This code is not displayed and is only used for integration purposes.

Field Rules:
Max Length 500 characters.

ProductDisplayColour

Denotes the COLOUR displayed on the RANGE page (e.g. Black).
NB: This is visible to customers.

Field Rules:
Max Length 500 characters.

GenericColour

Denotes the PRIMARY BASE COLOUR.
This can be a copy of what you entered in the ProductDisplayColour field.

DisplayWholesale

⚠️ Required

Denotes the displayed WHOLESALE PRICE (ex GST) of the item.
DO NOT include currency symbols (e.g: $).

Field Rules:
Numeric values only.

DisplayWholesaleRange

Used if the product has different prices per size. i.e. Surfboards.
This data is to be entered with the currency symbol (e.g: $200.00 - $300.00).

Field Rules:
Numeric values only.
Max Length 20 characters.

WholesalePriceOriginal

⚠️ Required

Denotes the displayed WHOLESALE PRICE (ex GST) of the item.
DO NOT include currency symbols (e.g: $).
NB: This price should never be changed as it can be used to compare original price to the current price.

Field Rules:
Numeric values only.

WholesalePrice

⚠️ Required

Denotes the displayed WHOLESALE PRICE (ex GST) of the item.
DO NOT include currency symbols (e.g: $).

Field Rules:
Numeric values only.

DisplayRetail

⚠️ Required

Denotes the displayed RECOMMENDED RETAIL PRICE (inc GST) of the item.
DO NOT include currency symbols (e.g: $).

Field Rules:
Numeric values only.

RetailPriceOriginal

⚠️ Required

Denotes the displayed RECOMMENDED RETAIL PRICE (inc GST) of the item.
DO NOT include currency symbols (e.g: $).
NB: This price should never be changed as it can be used compare original price to current price.

RetailPrice

⚠️ Required

Denotes the displayed RECOMMENDED RETAIL PRICE (inc GST) of the item.
DO NOT include currency symbols (e.g: $).

Field Rules:
Numeric values only.

PackUnits

⚠️ Required

Denotes the number of units in a pack.
If available as a single item, "1" must be used.
If available as a pack, enter the number of units within the pack.
The system will automatically calculate the individual item price and display this on the range page.

Product Multiple:

Denotes the "multiple" that this product must be ordered in (eg: 2,4,6,8; 3,6,9 and so on.)

Field Rules:
Numeric values only.

AvailableMonths

⚠️ Required

Denotes the MONTHS that this product is available for delivery.
Additional MONTHS can be easily added at a later date.

Field Rules:
Date format accepted.
DEC18,JAN19,FEB19 (over multiple years)

Divisions

⚠️ Required

Denotes the PRIMARY category the product is associated with. This is determined by the Supplier though guided by Brandscope (e.g. Men's Tops, Men's Bottoms, Women's Tops, Women's Bottoms etc.)

💡Tip: Keep this high level and related to the way product is organised in the physical catalogue.

Products can appear in multiple DIVISIONS but each Division must be comma separated with no spaces.

Field Rules:
Max Length 500 characters.

Collections

This denotes any collections or capsules within the range (e.g. Hyperdrive Series, Malawai Collection).
If the field is left blank, the item will automatically be assigned to an UNASSIGNED filter.

OR, instead of leaving blank, it can be filled with a customised filter option (e.g. NON-COLLECTION ITEMS). - - We suggest leaving blank.

Products can appear in multiple COLLECTIONS, but each COLLECTION must be comma separated with no spaces.

Field Rules:
Max Length 500 characters.

Categories

Denotes the SECONDARY category the product is associated with.
This is determined by the Supplier though guided by Brandscope (e.g. Denim Shorts, Cargo Shorts etc.).

💡Tip: Ensure categories relate back to the physical catalogue. Try and keep these categories consistent from season to season though this is NOT essential.

Products can appear in multiple FILTER TAGS but each FILTER TAGS must be comma separated with no spaces.

Field Rules:
Max Length 500 characters.

ProductTags

Leave blank.

AgeGroup

⚠️ Required

Denotes the AGE GROUP that the product is associated with.
This MUST be expressed as a Brandscope value: "Infant", "Kid", "Youth", "Adult" or "Any".
These values are non-customisable.
This field is case sensitive.

Gender

⚠️ Required

Denotes the SEX the product is associated with.
This MUST be expressed as a Brandscope value: "Male", "Female" or "Unisex" only.
These values are non-customisable.
This field is case sensitive.

BrandscopeHierarchy

⚠️ Required

Please refer to the Brandscope Category Hierarchy:
Brandscope's Category Hierarchy Document 
Populate this column with one of the category names from Level 4. 

Please contact Brandscope Administration if you cannot find a relevant category that suits your products.

State

Denotes the STATUS of the product, being either Active or Inactive.
This is generally set as Active.

ProductRequirement1

Enter any product order requirements and this will appear below the size grid on the Buy Plan screen where customers enter quantities.

Eg: MINIMUM ORDER 6 QTYs

ProductSpecification1 - ProductSpecification15

Denotes PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS associated with each product/SKU.
Each specification will be placed on a new line, preceded by a rounded bullet point.
Line HEADERS can be used if required.
Eg: FABRICATION - 98% Cotton 2% Spandex; CLOSURE: Zipperless etc).

💡Tip: Data displays better as lower case.

ProductChanges1 - ProductChanges5

Denotes any PRODUCT CHANGES associated with the pictured item and production (e.g. Button will be green in production, not yellow as pictured OR Chest logo will be 20% larger in production than pictured.)
These AUDIT NOTES can be adjusted LIVE to ensure that your sales team have up-to-date production details as they sell the range.

Denotes the RELEASE name as per the drop down menu in the SHOWROOM or physical catalogue.
Only place "AUS" / "NZ" etc at front of name if there are multiple countries.

SegmentNames

Segments can be used to group products within a release.
Segments can be used to limit retailer's access to certain products within a release.

Field Rules:The brand's Segment Name MUST exist in Brandscope.

AtsInIndent

⚠️ Required

Default = N
Denotes whether a product should display ATS quantities while in Indent Sell mode.
This can prevent over selling if there are limited quantities available.
This setting can be set differently for each release.

Y
N

💡Tip: This is very helpful in cases where:

  1. A product carries over into a new Indent release and there are limited quantities available.
  2. A product from another country's release is added to Indent release and there are limited quantities available.
  3. A product was pre-ordered before Indent period and there are limited quantities available.

AtsInInseason

⚠️ Required

Default = Y

Denotes whether a product should display ATS quantities while in Inseason Sell mode (Refill).
This setting can be set differently for each release.

Values:
Y
N

💡Tip: This is very helpful in cases where:

  1. You have no concept of ATS and unlimited quantities can be ordered.
  2. You would prefer to display infinite quantities available instead of an actual ATS stock count.
  3. You have large amounts of quantities available for a product.
