User Types and What They Can Do

Each user type in Brandscope has different levels of access and control. This 'User Status Definitions' guide outlines what each role can do within the platform.

Super Supplier Admin

Full administrative access across the platform.

Can:

  • Access all internal users and external Agent activity (BPT, BP, QF, CNF, CON, Orders)

  • Create BPTs and place orders for all retailers

  • Amend all internal user profiles and user statuses

  • Manage product data and administrative features

  • Upload and edit marketing features

  • Link and remove retailers from their brand(s)

Cannot:

  • Assign Agents, Sales Reps, or other Super Supplier BPTs

Supplier Admin

Similar to Super Supplier Admin, with some restrictions on core data and settings.

Can:

  • Perform all sales functions (BPTs, orders, etc.)

  • Assign Releases, Territories, and Segments

  • View and edit marketing features

  • Export DLS (Data Load Sheets)

Cannot:

  • Access Brand and Release edit settings

  • Upload or modify product data (DLS)


Sales Reps

Internal users who manage retailer relationships within assigned territories.

Can:

  • Access all brand releases (once assigned to a territory)

  • Create BPTs and place orders for retailers within their territories

Limitations:

  • Can only work with retailers assigned to their territory

  • Cannot access a full retailer list

  • Retailer details are only visible when assigning BPTs

Managed by:
Super Supplier Admin via the Sales Reps section


Agents

External users with similar permissions to Sales Reps but managed independently.

Can:

  • Access all brand releases (once assigned to a territory)

  • Create BPTs and place orders for retailers within their territories

Limitations:

  • Can only work with assigned retailers

  • Cannot access a full retailer list

  • Retailer details are only visible when assigning BPTs

Managed by:
Brandscope Admin (for assigning/removing from territories)


Retail Admin

Primary user for a retailer account.

Can:

  • Access assigned releases

  • Place orders

  • Update personal and company details

  • Add and manage users within their account

  • Deactivate users


Retail HQ Admin

  • Same access as Retail Admin as well as access to and ability to place orders for any child stores associated with their HQ account in Brandscope

Retail Employee

  • Only able to view Releases and cannot place orders. This is used often by junior sales staff who may need access to view wholesale. 

Typically used for junior staff or team members who only need visibility.
