User Types and What They Can Do

Each user type in Brandscope has different levels of access and control. This 'User Status Definitions' guide outlines what each role can do within the platform.

Super Supplier Admin

• Access to all Internal Users and external Agent activity (BPT/BP/QF/CNF/CON/Orders) 
• Cannot assign Agent/ Sales Reps or other Super Supplier BPT
• Create BPTs and place orders for all their Retailers 
• Amend all internal user profiles and user statuses
• Control over product data and administrative features
• Upload and edit marketing features
• Link existing retailers in Brandscope
• Remove retailers from their Brand(s)

Supplier Admin

• Has access to all the same sales functions as Super Supplier and can assign Releases, Territories, Segments
• Able to view and edit marketing features
• No access to the Brand and Release Edit Settings
• No access to Product data and cannot upload a DLS (Can export DLS)

Sales Reps

• Sales Reps are internal users on the Supplier account. They will have access to all Brands' Releases once assigned to a territory BUT can only assign a BPT/ and place orders for Releases the Retailers on their territories are assigned to.
• They do not have access to a list of Retailers, but details can be found when assigning BPTs
• Super Supplier Admin can add and remove them from territories under the 'Sales Reps' drop down

Agents

• Agents have independent accounts in Brandscope. They will have access to all a Brands' Releases once assigned to a territory BUT can only assign a BPT/ and place orders for Releases the Retailers on their territories are assigned to. 
• They do not have access to a list of Retailers, but details can be found when assigning BPTs
• Brandscope Admin to add/ remove an Independent Agent from a Territory

Retail Admin

• Access to Releases they have been assigned to
• Can update their own personal and company details
• Can add additional users onto their account
• Can inactivate users in their account

Retail HQ Admin

• Same access as Retail Admin as well as access to and ability to place orders for any child stores associated with their HQ account in Brandscope

Retail Employee

• Only able to view Releases and cannot place orders. This is used often by junior sales staff who may need access to view wholesale.
